About Us

Our volunteering team aim to be the primary point of contact for anyone within our community who is experiencing difficulties affecting their general wellbeing.

We support over 2,600 people annually by providing an informal and welcoming listening and signposting drop-in service from a High Street venue. Our Volunteers undergo training in areas including safeguarding, suicide prevention, mental health awareness, active listening, health and safety, resilience, homelessness, domestic violence and first aid.

We also help with completing forms, handling bureaucracy, issuing food bank vouchers, facilitating a weekly MH peer support group, linking in with the Worcestershire County Council Community Services Directory.

What People Say

"I saw the sign outside the Hub and I thought it looked interesting. I was feeling isolated due to my mental health. I had debt problems as well. I have found it all so helpful. I have made friends and I realise I can help others, it has also improved my attitude."
"The Hub staff introduced me to The Foodbank and the Community Cupboard. They gave me a plan of action to sort out my money, benefits and food. I call into the Hub to update them, they are so welcoming and it is the highlight of my day. When you are in ill health life is very challenging, but the staff there make me laugh again and give me hope."
"I have lived in Pershore for many years and there has never been anything like the Hub before. Everyone was very kind. I always feel welcome. I have had meetings there with Citizens Advice and Age UK who have helped me a lot with official stuff."
